In the summer of 2010 Blue Bear Sound joined Sound of the Muse Records as the label's Ottawa recording studio, allowing even more artist development services to its repertoire.

In Fall 2010 Blue Bear Sound expanded its operations by adding a full service marketing and audio/video/multi-media production division - Blue Bear Media.

The Studio...

Our facilities boast over 6000 cu-ft of recording area - comprising 2 tracking rooms and a vocal booth - plus a comfortable 1900 cu-ft control room. Sonic characteristics of the tracking rooms - ranging from dark to neutral to bright - provide a wide choice of ambient environments in which to record.

And it doesn't stop at tracking; our resident Producer - Bruce Valeriani - specializes in mixing and is one of Ottawa's premier mix engineers. From folk to rock, pop to jazz, your song simply couldn't be in better hands.

We're also very pleased to offer home-recording clients the ability to import their PortaStudio and/or computer-based tracks into our studio to make your tracks really shine.

And the facilities listed in our Partner program allows us to coordinate all aspects of your project from start to finish.
